The Premier League title, the final qualifiers for the European places, and the last relegated team will all be determined on the final day.
Manchester City (1st, 90 points) are only one point in front of Liverpool at the top of the table, but they control their own destiny in the Premier League title race. A win over Aston Villa on the final day and they would beat out Liverpool (2nd, 89 points), who have to win and hope Villa pull off an unlikely result.
Tottenham (4th, 68 points) watched rivals Arsenal (5th, 66 points) lose to Newcastle and now Spurs are in the driver’s seat for a top-four finish. A win or draw against already-relegated Norwich City would see Antonio Conte lead his team to a Champions League group stage berth.
At the bottom of the table, it’s a dramatic race to avoid the drop between Leeds, Everton, and Burnley. Everton (16th, 36 points) and Burnley (18th, 34 points) will play on Thursday and again on Sunday. Two wins would see both survive the drop and leave Leeds United (17th, 35 points) to join Norwich City and Watford in the Championship next season.
